Graphene Oxide/Polyaniline-Based Multi Nano Sensor for Simultaneous Detection of Carbon Dioxide, Methane, Ethanol and Ammonia Gases

In this study, a multi nanosensor was fabricated for the simultaneous detection of carbon dioxide, methane, ethanol, and ammonia gases, and its electrochemical response to various concentrations of these gases were investigated. In order to fabricate this multi nanosensor, in the first phase, the Graphene-Oxide/Polyaniline (GO/PANI) nanocomposite was synthesized. Chemical ...

Inactivation of Gram-Negative Bacteria by Low-Pressure RF Remote Plasma Excited in N2-O2 Mixture and SF6 Gases

The role of low-pressure RF plasma in the inactivation of Escherichia coli O157, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus mirabilis, and Enterobacter sakazakii using N2-O2 and SF6 gases was assessed. 1×109 colony-forming units (CFUs) of each bacterial isolate were placed on three polymer foils. The effects of pressure, power, distance from the source, and exposure time to plasma gases were optimized. The...

مروری بر فرمولاسیون پیشرانه‌های مولد گاز بر پایه اکسید کننده آمونیوم نیترات

In most gas generator systems, production of gases at low temperature (less than 1000 °C) over a relatively long operation time (between 10 to 300 seconds) is needed. According to studies, composite propellant based on ammonium nitrate as oxidizer, especially AN/HTPB propellant is most commonly propellant used in gas generators. Because of low burning rate (about 2 mm/s at a pressure of 70 ...

Improved sensitivity gas detection by spontaneous Raman scattering.

Accurate, real-time measurement of the dilute constituents of a gaseous mixture poses a significant challenge usually relegated to mass spectrometry. Here, spontaneous Raman backscattering is used to detect low pressure molecular gases. Rapid detection of gases in the approximately 100 parts in 10(6) (ppm) range is described. Improved sensitivity is brought about by use of a hollow-core, photon...

Diode Laser Detection of Greenhouse Gases in the Near-Infrared Region by Wavelength Modulation Spectroscopy: Pressure Dependence of the Detection Sensitivity

We have investigated the pressure dependence of the detection sensitivity of CO(2), N(2)O and CH(4) using wavelength modulation spectroscopy (WMS) with distributed feed-back diode lasers in the near infrared region. The spectral line shapes and the background noise of the second harmonics (2f) detection of the WMS were analyzed theoretically. We determined the optimum pressure conditions in the...
